My husband was diagnosed with the same type of brain tumor in March of 2007. He passed away on September 22, 2008. Our story can be found on our website. I want you to know that I will be praying for your family. The Lord used a huge network of Christian people all throughout our trial to pray for, strengthen and encourage us. My desire is to "comfort others with the comfort God is using to comfort me". I would really desire to try to be an encouragement to your Mom. This is a long and difficult road but if you know the Lord, He gives amazing strength and grace. He never failed us one minute. He is not failing us now. He is such a wonderful Savior! Just know that I will be praying. If I can answer any questions or encourage you in any way please feel free to e-mail me. I learned so much about this type of tumor. I can also share some practical things about dealing with medicines, doctor visits, emergency rooms etc. that might greatly help your mom. Please contact me if you think I can help.
