The Contest

For February’s book giveaway, I’m doing something different. I want you to put your thinking caps on. Now that we have begun a new year, a lot of folks are looking ahead and pursuing new goals for this year. But for this contest, I want you to do something different. The Bible continually reminds us of the importance of remembering God’s works in our lives. I want you to  look back at 2008 and participate in one of the following two ways (your choice):

1. E-mail me (include your name) and tell me about one amazing blessing God gave you or one amazing thing He did for you in 2008. (Don’t worry. I won’t be publishing your blessing anywhere.) Okay, here’s mine. In 2008, God continued to provide steady work (and income) so I could continue to work from home and provide for my wife and two daughters. That’s an amazing blessing I never want to take for granted.

2. If you’re stumped, here’s an alternative. E-mail me (include your name) and share a story you wish someone would write as a novel or short story someday. (You never know. I might choose to use your idea down the road. If I do, I’ll be sure to let you know.)

The Rules

Those who e-mail me a comment will be entered in February’s book drawing and will be eligible to win a free copy of Steal Away (Teri Blake-Addison Mystery Series #1), a terrific mystery by Christian suspense novelist Linda Hall. No comment=no entry. The contest deadline is February 19, 2009. All who participate will be automatically added to my e-mail list for future newsletters.
