Yes, I am married (praise God), though I married later than most of my peers. I met Kim Melzer of Milwaukee on a trip to the Holy Land in the spring of 1995. (It’s a fascinating story I’ll have to share sometime.) I was working as an editor for Awana at the time and lived in a Chicago suburb. My church joined her church for a Holy Land trip, and God led from there as only He can. We were married on November 2, 1996. God has blessed us with two daughters, Laura (2001) and Julia (2004).
